Texarkana Arkansas Police cleared a homeless encampment last week on Prince Street following multiple complaints from neighbors.
The cleanup happened at 1001 and 1005 Prince Street, where residents had reported littering, vandalism, loose animals, and other issues. Officers from TAPD, Animal Control, Public Works, and the Street Department all took part in the operation.
One person was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Others at the site were informed about local resources for help.
The effort is part of the ongoing College Hill Rejuvenation project, which began in January.
