A juvenile has been arrested after allegedly making a verbal threat against students at Horatio High School.
According to the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office, school officials contacted the school resource officer, and the student was taken to the sheriff’s office for questioning. The juvenile was later arrested and is being held at a juvenile detention facility.
Authorities say there is no current threat to the school.
This marks the second juvenile threat-related arrest in the county since Saturday, following a similar incident reported at De Queen schools.
