A Texarkana woman is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly spraying pepper spray into a car occupied by a mother and her two young daughters.
Police say 24-year-old Jayla Lashae Jones is charged with two counts of injury to a child, felony stalking, and misdemeanor assault. The incident happened September 4 at Creekside Apartments, where Jones reportedly confronted the children’s mother.
Later, as the mother called 911, Jones allegedly trapped her vehicle and sprayed pepper spray through an open window, hitting both the mother and children. Surveillance video confirmed the attack. Jones remains in Bowie County jail on $225,000 bond.
