Three Bowie County murder cases are set for pretrial hearings on June 2. Rodney Lindley, Cameron Cheatham, and Darren Rashun King will appear before 202nd District Judge John Tidwell. Lindley is charged in the 2023 shooting death of Mercedes Young and faces other charges related to contraband in jail. Cheatham is accused of capital murder in a 2014 shooting, with DNA evidence leading to his arrest last year. King is charged in the 2018 shooting death of John Neal Jr. All three remain in jail with trials pending.
